Sucrose is common sugar. Liquid sucrose is used as sweetening agents in food products. It is used as a replacement for common sucrose. It is made by mixing water and white sucrose or brown sucrose together. Commercially manufactures liquid sucrose is used in the foodservice industry or in domestic use as well. It is derived from normal sugar by crushing it finely into a powder so that it can easily dissolve in water.
It can be created by using healthy sucrose alternatives to make it useful in health and nutritional food products. It is a good alternative for normal sugar as it is much sweeter than it and required in very less amount. For brown colored food products in restaurants and hotel liquid sucrose with 67% of sucrose level used. In a household, 65% sucrose level is used. The demand for it is more in the food service industry due to its superiority over normal sucrose. As India is the second largest producer of sucrose cane, availability of liquid sucrose is more. It can be made from healthier alternative sucrose.
The demand for low-calorie sucrose is increasing which drives the market for liquid sucrose in the forecast period. It is having more demand in the bakery industry. The cook in food service industry demand for liquid sucrose for making bakery products such as cake, muffins, cupcake, etc. There are many advantages of liquid sucrose such as it reduced labor cost and saves filtration time for normal sucrose. Using this in baked products increases it’s the shelf life of baked products. Demand for liquid sucrose in bakery industry is increasing due to its advantages over normal sucrose.
Demand for liquid sucrose is increasing in the food processing industry. It is used for ice cream, dairy products, and groceries. Sucrose solution 65% to 67% are suitable for making beverages of high quality. It is also used to make products which have their own color and flavor such as mustard, jam, sauces, marmalade, and pickled vegetables, etc. It can be used in the cosmetic industry and for industrial applications such as fermentation.
Organic liquid sucrose is also present in organic beverages and other organic food products where sweetener is needed. For the production of liquid sucrose, fewer process steps are needed. All liquid sucrose is filtered and pasteurized. Due to the ease of processing and batch-wise stability that is accomplished by using liquid sucrose, the demand for it increases. Food processors in the world have been demanding more of liquid sucrose rather than the granular and powdered ones, as it leads to significant cost-cutting that is otherwise incurred in the equipment required for dissolving, filtering, and pasteurization.

Our analysis will follow a modeling-based approach and triangulation methodology to estimate data covered in this report. A detailed market understanding and assessment of the applications, types, forms, and end uses of the product segments covered in the study is followed by carrying out a demand-side approach to estimate the sales of target product segments, which is then cross-referenced with a supply-side assessment of value generated over a pre-defined period. The statistics and data are collected at a regional level, consolidated and synthesized at a global level to estimate the overall market sizes.
